This beautiful Ajax Vibraphone from the late 1950’s Scale F to F Three Octave. I am playing this set currently and will include any sticks that I can gather with the sale.
Damping mechanism works well, a little fragile with only 2 long rods holding the pedal to the dampener.
Original motor is in very good condition (not in photos) as this was found shortly after I purchased the set. Is a single speed with a simple on and off button. Rubber Belt has been added as the original had deteriorated over time.
Set collapses down into sections, Bars, the frame together with legs, pedal and an upright bar and the 2 sets of resonators.
