Zildjian 13” Made In Istanbul - CIE Era Hi-Hats 1930-40’s
Immaculate condition with only some minor defects. These are a collectors piece but have been played many years by a Jazz player on Cruise ships. The pair have been sitting in a bag unused for a number of years.
Avidis Zildjian signature is very prominent on the underside of the top hat. Date Marked in Turkish Numerals is barely visible.
Weights - 920 grams and 810 grams.
I have left the patina on them, some players like this, some do not. Personally, patina adds more depth and darker sounds gives them character and age.
No keyholing, holes are completely fine. No cracks anywhere but there is 3.5cm of the Bottom hats edge where there are some flea bites.
