More info…..
I have been very honest with the description of each drum below. Please don't let this put you off as it's an amazing kit.
What's included with the 60s thunder kit….
All over expect the usual pitting and rusting on the hoops and tension rods.
Scratches and scrapes on the wrap but not to bad. The White (Vibrasonic coating) Paint on the inside has cracked (this is normal).
Hayman double knuckle tom arm also included works great just pitted and chrome has come off. Three floor tom legs. Bass drum spurs.
14x5 Snare - Not much Cracked white paint (possibly the best I have seen). Snare throw (George H stamped) gets a little sticky but much like a Ludwig P83. Internal dampener is in great condition and works well. Brand new Remo ambassador heads either side.Vintage wires one of the strands have been cut off. Big scrape in the wrap see photos.
Super loud snare great tuned low or high super versatile, a great crack to it.
22x14 Bass drum - Hoops are original but the inlay has been redone slightly smaller and is missing a small amount (I have hid this on the bottom of the front) and do have some pedal damage on them. Very rare original claws and T rods all round. Hayman logo head on reso with large porthole and an old Remo Clear Pinstripe 3 on the batter.
16x16 Floor - In good condition, Internal baseball bat style tone control works great. Hayman head on the batter and remo ambas on the reso.
Legs are non Hayman, but mounts work and hold them in place,
12x7 Tom is in great condition. Internal dampener
Hayman head on reso and old Premier nice condition on the reso
13x9 Tom Internal dampener. Sadly the badge has gone. Used Remo ambassador both sides.
